What is Duet Training?

Duet training is simply two people sharing a one-hour session with me in my Makawao studio. You’ll both receive personalized attention and instruction throughout the session, working through GYROTONIC® exercises on the Pulley Tower, Ladder, and Wingmaster together. It’s collaborative, motivating, and frankly – a lot of fun.

Whether you come with a partner, spouse, friend, or coworker, duet training creates a shared experience that keeps you both accountable and enjoying the process of getting stronger, more mobile, and pain-free.

Does Duet Training Actually Work?

Absolutely. While private sessions allow for the most individualized focus, duet training works beautifully for people at similar fitness levels or with compatible goals. With 25+ years of experience, I’m skilled at observing and addressing two bodies simultaneously, cueing each person appropriately while keeping the session flowing. Many of my long-term clients actually prefer the energy and camaraderie of training with someone they know.

What Will We Do in a Duet Session?

Every duet session is built around both partners’ needs and goals. You’ll work on the same specialized equipment used in private sessions – the Pulley Tower, the Ladder, and the Wingmaster. Depending on your goals, sessions can focus on:
