Simple Twist & Pull
Some families of exercises and then some exercises within those families, are what I consider “bread & butter” exercises. Simple Twist & Pull is one of my bread & butter exercises. It’s one of my overall favorites.
In my (very biased) opinion, GYROTONIC® training is the most brilliant exercise system ever created. Being a certified instructor since 1999 will definitely create a bias. As much as I really enjoy yoga, weight training and kettlebells, Gyrotonic training is my number one choice and passion. It’s physical fitness at it’s most refined.
The five pieces of equipment are the Pulley Tower Unit, the Jumping Stretching Board, the Archway, the Leg Extension Unit and the GYROTONER®. The same principles of movement are used on each piece but each piece asks your body to be in very different positions. You’ll move all your joints through all their ranges of motion, usually with resistance. I find Gyrotonic training to be a nearly limitless system that can help almost anyone reach their movement and fitness goals.
